Hip-Hop Program

This program is designed to build strong, confident, and creative dancers through five progressive levels, starting at age 3. The program focuses on core street dance foundations: popping, locking, waacking, breaking, and house, developing both technical skill and freestyle artistry.

Since this is a new program and many dancers may not have prior exposure to these styles, the summer classes—as well as the first several weeks of the school year—will be divided by style. Each week will focus on a different foundational style, ensuring every student gets proper instruction in the roots and vocabulary before jumping into choreography or performance prep. This approach builds a stronger understanding of Hip-Hop culture and helps students feel confident and prepared, especially leading up to key events like competition season or seasonal showcases.

Through five progressive levels, dancers gain technical skill, musicality, freestyle ability, and performance confidence. Whether starting at age 3 or training at an advanced level, this program helps dancers explore their identity, master movement foundations, and grow into expressive artists ready for stage, cypher, or competition.
