Welcome to Flatirons Dance Academy's Competitive Ballet Program.
Our vision is to elevate the training, performance, and artistry of our dedicated ballet dancers by giving them more opportunities to perform and grow. This comprehensive program develops disciplined, confident, resilient, and well-rounded dancers — those who bring a strong work ethic and a true passion for performance.

Required Weekly Classes
To join the Competitive Ballet Program, dancers must be enrolled in the following:
Three Weekends on Stage
Every dancer performs one solo and two group dances across the season.
Young Dancer's Competition
Ballet Championships of America
Sheer Elite
Ballet Variation Solo
Five 45-minute choreography sessions scheduled in August and September.
Group Contemporary Pointe Dance
Intensive choreography dates scheduled following the Nutcracker season.
Group Contemporary Dance
Intensive choreography dates scheduled following the Nutcracker season.
Three full competition weekends are required commitments.
Missed choreography appointments will incur a $55 fee per occurrence.
No refunds will be issued for tuition or competition payments, including for injuries.
Showcase Performance
Dancers will perform their solos and group pieces for family and friends before heading into competition season. Each dancer will receive special gifts and recognition as they prepare for the season ahead.
BAND App Communication
BAND will be used for all program communication throughout the season. Parents and dancers will receive rehearsal schedules, reminders, videos, music, announcements, and updates through the app. Both dancers and parents are encouraged to join.
