Hip-Hop dancer at Flatirons Dance Academy
Flatirons Dance Academy

Hip-Hop Program

This program builds strong, confident, and creative dancers through five progressive levels, starting at age 3. It focuses on core street dance foundations — popping, locking, waacking, breaking, and house — developing both technical skill and freestyle artistry.

Since this is a newer program, summer classes and the first several weeks of the school year are divided by style, giving every dancer proper instruction in the roots and vocabulary of each before moving into choreography or performance prep. Whether starting at age 3 or training at an advanced level, this program helps dancers explore their identity, master movement foundations, and grow into expressive artists ready for stage, cypher, or competition.
